The picture under the "About Me" section

The picture I have posted under the "About Me" section is a table topper I've just finished making. It was a mystery quilting project run by Cindy at C D Designs online. Cindy designed the table topper and kindly posted the directions on a weekly basis until the complete project had been posted. Several people joined in the project and posted pictures at each step throughout the project. It was made using the English Paper Piecing (EPP) method of patchwork. It was the second table topper made during 2007. Both are totally different and both were fun to make. Thanks go out to Cindy for hosting the online mystery project.

Hi, I'm completely new to blogging so I'll keep it simple for now.

The reason I've started this blog is so that I can participate in a 2008 monthly Challenge with SharonB. Sharon will set the challenges for the group and each month we will make or design whatever we interpret her designs to mean and we hope to display each months work in our own Blog.

I love to sew, quilt, embroider, bead so I'm very much looking forward to these monthly challenges.
